Heart disease is the top killer in the nation among both men and women. One in three deaths is caused by heart attack or stroke. This month, we're raising awareness for heart health by offering tips and resources to help prevent and reduce the risk for heart disease. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, knowing your risk factors and scheduling regular health screenings are simple steps you can take to protect your heart. Help Well-U fight heart disease by signing up for the AHA Heart Walk in April, or donating to the cause.
