- Use your YMCA discount
Become a member of the YMCA with no joining fee, plus a discount!
- Complete your online Personal Health Assessment (PHA)*
A confidential, self-administered questionnaire that asks a series of questions about your lifestyle habits, health history, and current health status.
- Get a biometric screening*
Make an appointment at a clinic near you, where a registered nurse will measure your heart rate, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, etc. and discuss your results.
- Enroll in a lifestyle or condition management program*
Improve your stress, weight, nutrition, etc. by participating in a lifestyle management program, and learn to better manage a chronic health condition by participating in a condition management program.

As a University employee, you have access to unique mental health resources to help you manage life’s problems as they come.
- Attend the University Farmers Market
Attend the weekly farmers market on Wednesdays for fresh, local goods. Sign up for the UR Farmers Market Newsletter to stay up to date on market happenings.
- Participate in free fitness classes
Well-U sponsored fitness classes are available to employees at a variety of University locations.
- Become a Well-U Champion
As a Well-U Champion you will serve as a liaison between Well-U and your department, bringing wellness news and programs to your coworkers.
